New CATdesign product family for centre drills and NC spotting drills.
Different centre drill forms and the NC spotting drill
are now available in the new CATdesign family D290 in solid carbide and also in HSS/HSSE.
Solid carbide (smallest diameter > 2.0 mm) will be produced in Frankfurt, Germany.
HSS/HSSE Centre and NC spotting drill will be produced in Soultz, France.
In this family also the new GPS - ISO material group selection is included!
Key benefits of the D290
- According to the specified number of cutting diameters, different types are selectable.- Centre drills can be one-sided or double-sided.
- The special flat on shank (like from K2513) can be selected for different forms.
- Optional selection of number of coolant slots on shank (only one-sided centre drills).
- Chamfer angles form are set for each centre drill (no optional choose allowed, only values).
